Kahnun gaafal ho ke suttain akkhan meeti he insaan;
Jag ke apna kam muka lai jis layi aayen vich jahan.
Eh vela fer hatth na auna tun pachhtavenga anjaan;
Is duniyan de andar bande chaar dina da tun mahmaan.
Maanush janam amolak paya is da milna nahin aasan;
Maat garbh chon bahar aa ke bhull gya eyen tun bhagwan.
Apne aap ton tun nawakif satgur kolon kar pehchan;
Jhalya tera maalak kehrha jisde ne eh pind praan.
Agge ja ke muh ki desen enan te tun soch vichar;
Kahe avtar eh tere hath vich baji apni jitt ya haar.

O' man why are you slumbering carelessly with your eyes closed?
Wake up and accomplish the task for which you came in this world.
O' ignorant man, you will not get this opportunity again, and you shall repent;
O' man, you are only a guest for a short span of time in this world.
This precious human life which you have got is not easy to get;
After coming out of the mother's womb, you have forgotten God.
You are ignorant about yourself, you should know from the True Master;
O' imprudent man, who is your Lord Master to whom your body and soul belong?
You should ponder at least as to what face you shall show in the Kingdom of God;
Avtar says, O' man, the game is in your own hands, you may win or lose it.

Meaning
Here, , Baba Avtar Singh Ji is conveying a message to those people who aren’t aware of God. He also talks about the great opportunity of having a human life.
Man has turned ignorant and closed his eyes. Little does man know the reason for which he came into this world. The human life that he has been blessed with is taken for granted and one day man will repent it because this life cannot be attained easily. After coming out of the mother’s womb, man has forgotten God. Not only he has forgotten God but also Himself.
Thus, He says that man should now become thankful and also aware. Winning or losing this game of life is now in mans hands.
